Powers St & Graham Ave [NW Corner] (June 3, 2012)

Williamsburg, Brooklyn...  New York Big Apple Images says that "Metropolitan Tobacco was founded in 1899 by Adolph D. Bendheim," and notes that "because they sold to jobbers at retail rates (thus eliminating the tobacco companies' profit), they were charged as a trust and broken up in 1914." Today, this attractive building is home to one kick-ass laundromat, Lavanderia Express.
