Bleecker St & MacDougal St (1963)

I don't recall where I found this picture of 1960s Greenwich Village. There's litter on the street in front of Cafe Figaro, which closed in 2008, after 5 decades in business. According to a NY Times article, "Among the customers over the years, lingering over their coffee cups for hours on end, were Bob Dylan, Lenny Bruce and Jack Kerouac."                  CLICK TO ENLARGE
